Aboyne Canoe Club offers a range of activities and events to appeal to a broad range of abilities and interests.

Aboyne Canoe Club is all about fun and as such we run a series of social events. These events include an Easter Egg Hunt, litter pick, Mince Pie/ Christmas trip and ceilidh.
Outdoor Sessions (May-August):
Aboyne Canoe Club offers regular outdoor sessions for a variety of craft in the warmer summer months. Sessions typically take place between 18.30 until 19.30/20.00 under Aboyne Bridge as well as on the flatwater venues of Aboyne Loch and Knockburn Loch.
Indoor Pool Sessions (September-April):
Indoor pool sessions take place at Aboyne Community Pool between 6.30-9.20 p.m. Aboyne Community Pool sessions are usually divided into three blocks; beginner, intermediate and kayak polo sessions. Please visit the pool sessions tab for details.
River Trips (year long):
We host regular trips on the nearby River Dee as well as occasional excursions to more technical and challenging rivers such as the Findhorn or Moriston. Details of trip leader, river grade and required ability and kit will be indicated by the programme or contact with the trip leader.
